Downtown Grass Valley produces some of the most well attended and loved events in Nevada County. Downtown Grass Valley Events are a family friendly environment with activities for all ages. Plan your next trip to downtown Grass Valley, California and enjoy one of our events that have become a favorite of people both locally and abroad. Events include the downtown Grass Valley Car Show, Sierra Festival of the Arts, Mill Street Certified Growers Market, Thursday Night Marketplace, and Cornish Christmas.

The Grass Valley Downtown Association and the Northern Sierra Winery Association are host to two of the most well attended tasting events. Foothills Celebration in the spring and Taste of the Gold in the Fall at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in conjunction with the Draft Horse Classic.

Spring Fling - A shopping extravaganza in downtown! Over 35 stores with discounts, deals,door prizes, music & more.

Grass Valley Car Show- Fast Cars, Classics, Hot rods, 50's music, and enthusiastic car owners. Over 300 cars showcased domestic and foreign.

Sierra Festival of the Arts- Over 50 different artisans in downtown Grass Valley ready to share their love of art with you! Great music and entertainment. Memorial Day weekend.
